Doors: Stable Doors
All of our doors are made bespoke and can accommodate any design. Layouts can be configured in a wide range of combinations, including panel style, boarding and glazing, with options for fanlights and sidelights. The examples shown represent a small selection of popular styles. Original designs can also be faithfully replicated where required.
Our doors are constructed from a high-performance engineered core using an insulated timber sandwich construction. This comprises a solid timber perimeter with an insulated core, faced with timber veneers and protective layers that improve rigidity, moisture resistance and thermal performance.
Door blanks can be specified with an integrated security inlay to support PAS 24 compliant door constructions.
Where stable doors incorporate glazed panels, a 56mm door construction accommodates single, double, slimline and vacuum glazing units, with overall unit thicknesses ranging from 4–24mm. Triple glazing is not compatible with this door construction.
Our doors are crafted from precision-machined timber sections, ensuring refined, well-proportioned detailing appropriate to the style of the project.
Panels can be configured as vertically/horizontally boarded, raised and fielded, flat or recessed, with a range of moulding profiles defining the edge detail to each panel.
Weather bars, compression draught seals and automatic drop thresholds are carefully integrated to provide effective protection against air and water ingress.
Cills can be formed in hardwood or aluminium, selected to suit the performance requirements and overall design of the door.

Stable doors are fitted with a two-part multipoint locking system for independently operated upper and lower leaves.
Each leaf incorporates its own locking mechanism, with handle operation to the upper leaf and key-lockable latches to both, allowing the door to function as a single unit when required.
