All of our doors are made bespoke and can accommodate any design. Layouts can be configured in a wide range of combinations, including panel style, glazing, with options for fanlights and sidelights, single or double leaf doors. The examples shown represent a selection of popular styles.
Original designs can also be faithfully replicated where required.

Our doors are constructed from a high-performance engineered core using an insulated timber sandwich construction. This comprises a solid timber perimeter with an insulated core, faced with timber veneers and protective layers that improve rigidity, moisture resistance and thermal performance.

Door blanks can be specified with an integrated security inlay to support PAS 24 compliant door constructions.

Weather bars, compression draught seals and automatic drop thresholds are carefully integrated to provide effective protection against air and water ingress.

Where french doors incorporate glazed panels, three door construction depths are available to suit a range of glazing unit specifications.

56 mm door construction accommodates single, double, slimline and vacuum glazing units, with overall unit thicknesses ranging from 4–26mm.

69 mm door construction accommodates double and triple glazed units, with overall unit thicknesses ranging from 14–36mm, including:
4–6–4 (14 mm DGU)
4–12–4 (20 mm DGU)
4–16–4 (24 mm DGU)
4–12–4–12–4 (36 mm triple glazed unit)
78 mm door construction accommodates triple glazed units, with overall unit thicknesses ranging from 36–44mm, including:
4–12–4–12–4 (36 mm triple glazed unit)
4–14–4–14–4 (40 mm triple glazed unit)
4–16–4–16–4 (44 mm triple glazed unit)

Toughened or laminated glass can also be specified where enhanced protection is required without compromising appearance.

Glazing bars
Glazing bars can be specified as either face-applied or true through bars depending on glazing choice, with a range of profiles and detailing to suit both contemporary and period designs.

Glazing bars are available in a range of profiles, with varying depths and detailing to suit both contemporary and traditional designs.
Face-applied glazing bars are used within the Box Sash Classic range.

Duplex bars are available in black, white, grey, brown finish.
Common glazing bar profiles include:
 25mm Classic ovolo
 25mm Classic lambs tongue
 25mm Fine lambs tongue
Bespoke profiles can be machined to suit specific project requirements, including the replication of existing or historic details.

Standard Multipoint Locking system*
As standard, french doors are fitted withKFV AS4540 multipoint lock with hook locking points, providing distributed locking along the height of the door. The secondary leaf is secured with flush bolts.

French Door Multipoint Locking System
We offer the Winkhaus FGTE multipoint locking system for French doors, with a primary and secondary leaf configuration and double handle operation. Hooks or twin deadbolts engage into the opposing leaf, with shootbolts securing into the head and cill for distributed, high-security locking.

Suitable for inward and outward opening doors, including large-format doors exceeding 3m in height.

Cremone Bolts
We can fit surface-mounted cremone bolts with a central handle operating vertical rods into the head and cill, providing a traditional locking solution, with optional key or thumbturn locking.

Enhanced Security
Additional measures, including hinge bolts, reinforced keeps and laminated glazing, can be incorporated to further increase resistance.

Suited key systems are available to allow multiple locks to be operated with a single key.

*PAS 24 certification is available for outward opening door sets when specified with the Winkhaus FGTE multipoint locking system, handle-operated configuration, 3D Nico hinges and 69mm door thickness.

3D Adjustable Hinges
Fully adjustable in three planes for precise in-situ alignment, with maintenance-free, low-friction bearings for long-term performance.
Phosphor Bronze Washered Hinges
Traditional butt hinges with phosphor bronze washers for smooth, durable operation and long service life.
Tectus Hinge
Fully concealed hinge system providing a clean, flush appearance with high load capacity and precise adjustability.
