Glazing

57mm Casement Period frames accommodate the following glazing units:

4mm single glazing

Timber

Our casement windows are crafted from premium, sustainably sourced timber, including pine, sapele, eucalyptus Red Grandis, oak and Accoya.

Additional commercially available timbers can be sourced for bespoke designs if required.

Trickle vents

Where required, trickle vents are fully concealed through the head of the frame.

They are invisible on both the internal and external faces of the product.

Ironmongery

Period casement windows are available with two ironmongery approaches: a fully traditional, expressed hardware arrangement, or a hybrid approach combining concealed modern performance with a traditional appearance.

Hinges: butt hinges (visible)
Holding open: casement stay (peg or telescopic stay)
Locking: casement fastener (single-point, key lockable if required), not PAS24 tested

Hybrid: concealed with traditional appearance

Profiles & Mouldings

Glazing bars are available in a range of profiles, with varying depths and detailing to suit both contemporary and traditional designs.

Face-applied or true solid glazing bars are available within the Casement Period range, subject to the chosen glazing unit.

Bespoke profiles can be machined to suit specific project requirements, including the replication of existing or historic details.

Duplex bars are available in black, white, grey and brown finish.
