European Oak

Oak is a high-performance hardwood valued for its strength, durability, and distinctive natural grain. Its density provides excellent structural integrity and good resistance to wear, while offering reliable dimensional stability and natural resistance to moisture and decay when properly processed. Engineered laminated oak (glulam) further enhances stability and reduces the risk of movement or warping, producing consistent, high-strength sections. Oak machines well and takes paints, stains, and clear finishes to a high standard, making it suitable for both durable external use and refined internal joinery.

Accoya

Accoya is a high-performance, acetylated timber made from sustainably sourced fast-growing softwood, engineered for exceptional durability, dimensional stability and resistance to rot. Its minimal movement and long service life make it particularly well suited to high-performance window applications, where it can match or exceed the performance of the best tropical hardwoods. Produced through a non-toxic modification process, Accoya achieves durability class 1 and offers a reliable, low-maintenance, and environmentally responsible material with a proven track record in real-world conditions.

Pine

Pine (laminated/glulam) is a refined, cost-effective softwood widely used in high-quality doors, windows, and joinery. Formed from multiple bonded layers, it offers enhanced dimensional stability and resistance to warping or twisting, delivering consistent and reliable performance. Lightweight and easy to machine, it provides a smooth, uniform surface that takes paint exceptionally well, making it ideal for high-quality painted finishes. When properly treated and finished, it offers dependable durability, making it a versatile choice for both external and internal applications.

Sapele

Sapele is a high-performance hardwood widely used in premium window fabrication, valued for its strength, durability, and refined finish. It offers good natural resistance to rot and moisture, combined with excellent dimensional stability, making it well suited to exposed external applications. Its dense, interlocking grain provides structural reliability while allowing for precise machining and clean detailing. Sapele takes paint exceptionally well, delivering a smooth, consistent finish, and can also be polished or stained to a high standard for interior use. A robust and versatile material, it is ideal for both long-lasting external frames and high-quality internal joinery.

Eucalyptus Red Grandis

Eucalyptus Red Grandis is a high-performance, kiln-dried hardwood suited to premium joinery applications. It offers excellent dimensional stability with low movement in service, combined with good natural durability and resistance to moisture, making it well suited to external doors and windows. Its fine, uniform grain ensures consistent colour and allows for precise machining and clean detailing. Red Grandis takes paint exceptionally well, delivering a smooth, stable finish, while also performing well with stains and clear coatings. A versatile and cost-effective hardwood, it is ideal for both durable external frames and refined internal finishes.

Tulip Wood

Tulip wood is a versatile hardwood valued for its smooth grain, stability and ease of machining. It provides an excellent painted finish, making it a popular choice for high-quality joinery and bespoke window applications. Suitable for both internal and external use when properly treated, it combines durability with a refined appearance.

Walnut

Walnut is a rich, dark hardwood valued for its striking grain and exceptional finish quality. Typically specified for premium internal joinery and feature elements, it offers good stability and a naturally durable, refined appearance that develops further character over time.
