Colours
Our joinery is finished in our dedicated spray facility using Teknos VOC-compliant, water-based paint systems, with four coats of microporous paint or stain to give them a flawless and enduring finish. We can offer several levels of factory coating:
Primed only
Primer with one intermediate coat, ready for final finishing on site
Fully factory finished four coats
Period windows and doors are available in a paint brush finish
We can match any colour from the Teknos colour chart, a selection of which is shown below. Contact us for a physical sample.
T7001 is our standard colour. Non-standard colours may carry an additional charge.

A selection of frequently specified shades, shown here on our standard box sash profile, finished in the same bespoke colour internally and externally.
We can offer a ‘dual finish’ where different colours are desired internally and externally or a ‘mixed finish’ where frames are specified to be contrasting to sashes.
Stains
Our stain finishes enhance the natural character of the timber, allowing the grain and tonal variation to remain visible. Deeper stain colours offer increased protection against UV exposure and are less prone to fading over time.
We can produce any colour from the Teknos Woodex range. The finishes shown are indicative of the available palette; physical samples can be provided on request. Final appearance will vary depending on the timber species selected.
