Box Sash Window: Conservation

Each sliding sash window is designed with accurate proportions and traditional detailing, and is available in either box sash or spring balanced construction.

Our sash windows are manufactured from premium, sustainably sourced timber, including pine, sapele, European oak, Accoya, and engineered hardwoods such as Red Grandis.

Additional timber species can be sourced for bespoke applications, subject to availability and suitability.

Box Sash Conservation frames accommodate the following glazing units:
4-4-4  12mm DGU
4-6-4  14mm DGU
11.3 heritage vacuum glass.

A range of glazing specifications is available to suit thermal, acoustic and visual requirements.

Glazing bars are available in a range of profiles, with varying depths and detailing to suit both contemporary and traditional designs.
True solid glazing bars are used within the Box Sash Conservation range, glazed with traditional external putty finish.

Fine Lambs Tongue 18mm

Bespoke profiles can be machined to suit specific project requirements, including the replication of existing or historic details.

Where required, trickle vents are fully concealed through the head of the frame and are invisible on the internal or the external face of the product.

We offer an extensive range of stains and colours, including any shade from popular paint ranges. If you have a specific colour in mind, we can match it.
